We are a husband/wife maker team running a small online business. Our website address is: https://silentodd.com.
Overview
This web site does not run ads and does not have a membership/login feature. Other than our Contact form, we do not knowingly collect any information about you or share it with 3rd parties.
We do, however, use 3rd party components, primarily WordPress, and WordPress plugins from other vendors. In the case that any of these components offer data collection, we decline to use it.
Our online store is hosted by Go Imagine. Please review their terms of service and privacy policy on their web site. See the Go Imagine section below for additional information about how we maintain data collected from the online store.
Data we collect
We have a contact form through which readers can send their name, email address and any comments. This data is retained in the site’s database and, should we reply, also in our email server’s contact list.
We may work with you to design a bespoke commissioned item, in which case we retain any email history and call logs indefinitely.
We may offer an email list to be notified of new posts on the web site, and new items in the store. If offered, the email list is opt-in and members may opt out at any time. We do not harvest your email from other sources, or share or sell it with anybody.
Cookies
The frameworks we use employ cookies to track web sessions. We do not use session analytics or otherwise make use of the cookies for other purposes.
Who we share your data with
Nobody.
Unless you purchase through the online store. In that case Go Imagine and Stripe collect information needed to complete the transaction. We then share your name and address with the delivery carrier when we ship the purchased item(s).
How long we retain your data
If you use the contact form, the contents and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize any follow-up contacts and to reply to contacts as required.
If you use the email list, your email address is retained for as long as you are opted in. If you opt out, your email address is removed from the list. This does NOT remove your email address from our contact database if you have also used the Contact form.
What rights you have over your data
You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Submissions through the contact form or email list sign-ups may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Go Imagine uses the Stripe.com payment service. Please refer to their web site for their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
One reason we opted to use an online marketplace is that they are responsible for security of your payment and personally identifiable information and the have a whole IT security department working to keep it safe.
The only information we collect from Go Imagine and Stripe are the details of orders required to allow us to fulfill them and communicate status with buyers.
